Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website located at www.rdutvmounting.com or engaging RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for any services. By accessing our website or scheduling services with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services
RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video provides professional installation services including but not limited to TV mounting, home theater installation, surround sound installation, smart home installation, outdoor entertainment systems, golf simulator installation, distributed audio, structured cabling, conference room systems, and related audio/video services in the Raleigh, NC metropolitan area and surrounding Triangle region.
All services are subject to availability, geographic service area limitations, and the specific scope of work agreed upon at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our sole discretion.
2. Booking and Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled through our website, by phone, or via our online booking system. By booking an appointment, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your location, project scope, and any relevant conditions
- Ensure that the service location is accessible and safe for our technicians at the scheduled time
- Obtain any necessary approvals (e.g., HOA, landlord, property manager) prior to installation
- Be present or have an authorized adult representative present during service
We will make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled appointments. In the event of a need to reschedule, we will contact you as promptly as possible.
3. Pricing and Payment
Pricing for services is provided at the time of booking or upon consultation. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in writing prior to the appointment.
We accept major credit cards, cash, and other payment methods as displayed at time of booking. We offer financing options for qualifying projects through our third-party financing partners. Financing terms are subject to the lender’s approval and separate agreement.
Any additional work requested beyond the original agreed-upon scope may result in additional charges, which will be communicated to you before the additional work is performed.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to charge a fee for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Customer Responsibilities and Site Conditions
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- The installation site is structurally suitable for the requested work (e.g., walls are capable of supporting mounted equipment)
- All existing wiring, fixtures, or structures that may be affected are disclosed to our technicians prior to work beginning
- Any pre-existing damage, unusual wall construction, or concealed obstacles are communicated in advance
- Required permits, if any, are obtained prior to installation where applicable
RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video is not responsible for damage to walls, ceilings, or structures that results from undisclosed pre-existing conditions, unusual construction materials, or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
6. Warranty and Workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our installation work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all labor for a period of 30 days from the date of service. This warranty covers defects in installation workmanship but does not cover:
- Damage caused by customer misuse, tampering, or modification
- Damage caused by third parties after our work is completed
- Pre-existing conditions in walls, structures, or electrical systems
- Product defects in customer-supplied or third-party equipment
Manufacturer warranties on equipment and products we supply are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms. We will assist you in understanding and pursuing manufacturer warranty claims where applicable.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of use, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. SMS and Text Message Communications
By providing your mobile phone number through our website, contact form, booking system, or any other channel, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from RDU TV Mounting & Audio Video. These messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, service notifications, and promotional communications.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at (919) 355-4288. Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any service.
9. Intellectual Property
